Formed by our Eucharistic experience, the Southeast Catholic Community strives to be a support system for families of all sizes and make-ups. Our goal is to partner with parents in fulfilling their promise to instruct themselves and their children in the faith of the Church. As we look forward to a new Faith Formation year beginning in late September, we have two program options for families to choose from. Both programs are designed to invite your family to find God every day in relevant and relatable ways.
Between the two Sunday morning Masses at Blessed Sacrament, for your convenience, we will offer traditional grade-level faith formation classes in the Blessed Sacrament school building, from 10:45-11:45am. In these classes children gather with other children in their grade, along with a catechist (teacher) to learn about the topic for the day. For a schedule of dates, click here. These once-a-month sessions designed for the entire family (ages 4 through 94), begin with the Saturday afternoon 4:30pm Mass (October through December at St. Mary’s; January through June at St. Boniface), and are followed by a pot-luck meal and then a period of intergenerational faith formation. We will begin in October and meet monthly through June. Additional lessons will be given to families to complete at home during the month. For a schedule of dates, click here.
