The Southeast Rochester Catholic Young Adult Ministry
is for people in their 20’s and 30’s: singles, dating, engaged, married, divorced, widowed, college students and young professionals, the unemployed and the over-employed!
You Have Different Lives but One Quest – to live out your Catholic Faith in today’s world. Come share your journey, joys and sorrows with others who seek to know how God is working in their lives.
We Appreciate Your Gifts and Talents – Our philosophy is that young adults want to be involved on all levels: as communion ministers, lectors, musicians, on committees, in social events and in-service opportunities. We offer a variety of these opportunities throughout the year. Check our website regularly!
The Frassati Society meets every Thursday night at 7:00 pm (September-June).
For the past two years, we have been visiting the monks at Mt. Savior Monastery. During the spring months when they are in the height of the lambing season we have found that the new births bring such depth to our experience of prayer and contemplation that we have returned year after year. QUIET REFLECTION
How has Jesus sent me forth to help build up the reign of God? How has God prepared me for the work that I am doing? Which of my colleagues are truly companions on the journey?
Lord you are our Father a loving parent who cares for us, your children. Here today we are just a few of your many million precious, loved and valued children. Help us to recognize the needs of our brothers and sisters - all made in your image. Hallowed be your name, not my name or any other. May your justice and truth reign on this planet which is stricken with poverty. When we ask for your kingdom to come. We do so laying all our resources at your feet. Help us, as part of your church, to be obedient to your call to look after people in need in your name. Give us your daily bread, and help us to share abundantly the plenty that we have been blessed with. Amen.

Becoming Catholic is a process that is unique to each person that comes in our doors. When you feel the time is right have a conversation with one of the staff about how to enter into the process formally. Until then we also have some meetings called inquiry sessions just to talk about the faith. Talk to any of our staff for more information.
Bringing Faith Alive – Living out your faith can be difficult when you are immersed in your studies, a new career or if you are starting a family. Your participation in Parish life may add a new depth to your spiritual experience and increase the dynamic relationship you have with God.
